Tree Canada is the only national non-profit organization dedicated to planting and nurturing trees in rural and urban environments across the country. Their goal is to inspire, educate and enable Canadians to address climate change and integrate sustainable practices into their communities. To date, thanks to our generous customers, we have raised over $2.2 million for Tree Canada, resulting in the planting of over 400,000 trees together across Ontario. From April 3–17, you can donate alongside your in-store purchase to support growing better places to live across the province.
The Lightweight Glass Bottle Program launched in 2010 and focused on 750 mL volume wine bottles. Given the success of the program, we have expanded to include 1,000 to 1,500 mL glass bottles. Lightweight glass provides ergonomic benefits for our retail and supply chain employees through reduced case-weight handling, reduces carbon emissions through more sustainable distribution, and supports and recognizes sustainability efforts by our suppliers and partners in the beverage alcohol industry.

Loop's entire brand premise is to use fruits and veggies that would have been thrown out simply for aesthetic reasons to make into products like cold-pressed juices and gin. This product in particular is made from an excess of potato cuttings largely coming from chip production. After distilling the alcohol, they blend it with delicious cold-pressed juice made from upcycled lime and ginger.

They also purchase surplus ingredients from surrounding farmers to keep the local economy flowing. And the company also installed a roof rainwater collection system and cistern that collects, stores and recycles water used during the distillation process.
